I went for a 2nd re-watching of Inception on Tuesday and fell in love all over again with the movie. And strangely, I lost my slasher goggles. How did that happen?

Can I just say that I was under the impression it was Ariadne who was worried about Arthur getting caught and killed by the security projections?
Well, well, I never thought that you 'ship A/A ... *wiggles brows comically*. There was that undercurrent (nicely hinted without any development) but I think it's not just Arthur that concerned Ariadne, but also everyone else. For a newly established groups of various shady backgrounds, they do work together nicely and watches one another's back.
Now, maybe you're wondering how you ever saw them in a romantic light even though their association is clearly platonic.
Absolutely. It wasn't like Star Trek Reboot at all which was pretty much a slasher's galore of shipping; the variety of gender/species pairing is astonishing.

i wasn't shipping!
I know. Just yanking your chain.
... you're welcome to tackle the movie a third time (hoho) to verify this!
This would necessitate me to get the Blu-Ray/DVD in December as no cinemas here are showing it anymore. *cries*
...fancied for these intelligent, self-aware and slightly cynical characters largely because they were such characters, and shipped them because they don't know anyone like that irl.
*sigh* I know EXACTLY what you mean.
... i think i would find someone like Arthur quite unnerving if i actually met him.Absolutely. These are the kind of people you love on paper/screen, but prolly not the kind you want to know IRL
