I follow the fashion industry, textile science industry, fiber/surface design arts, etc.

Do you have a list of symposium, guilds/trade groups, magazines, blogs, etc. that help you keep up with these things? I'm always looking for more information on some of these things :D

You know, I don't have a list, but it would be a good idea to start one! Off the top of my head, here are the ones that come to mind that I follow. Feel free to add to the list ( ... )

For fashion I follow blogs:

http://www.fashionising.com
www.redcarpet-fashionawards.com

Both are incredibly high volume, but they'll keep you up to date with what magazines (fashionising) and celebrities (redcarpet) are wearing and styling. I'm still trying to find a good runway show blog. I like wendylady2 here on LJ, but she just picks out the stuff she likes and I'd like to see all of it.

The felt at Leko is 'fur' felt. Non-woven's is wool. Not the same thing. Yes, I wish the fur felt was in bigger pieces but so nice to find other vendor's for flat felt skirting. Thanks!
