That's more or less the diet I've been on for quite awhile now. I'm not having as much is all. I've never been a big eater which is probably why I can't lose weight now. Chances are my metabolism is at zero.

Please don't confuse the DASH Diet with a diet adding a low-salt component. In six of the eight subgroups in the DASH-Sodium study, no significant blood pressure improvement was recorded (Bray et al, 2005)and these subgroups represent the vast majority of the US population.

The DASH Diet is highly recommended. A low-sodium diet is problematic.

No, I didn't think the DASH was low-sodium.

What's wrong with low-sodium diets? I've heard (or maybe read?) that the body requires a certain amount of sodium but I don't know why.
