History is complicated....

I love Mrs Pilling, really, I do, but would it kill her to give some concrete directions for this broadsheet? It's becoming confusing. Are our articles supposed to be more like essays? Or are they supposed to be more like news articles? Direct, to the point, with no "smart fluff" in terms of filler words, or overly "fluffy" and elaborate with a ( Read more... )

I don't know...it might just kill her if she thought that the directions she has been giving for the past 30 years make no sense to her students xD. I wish we could write the article like an actual newspaper article too. At first thats how I was writing the essay before I remembered that it had to be in essay format. ugh, its so aggrivating.

It should be written like a newspaper article.
She didn't specify last year, either- I had to change my essay-like article to a more journalistic piece during lunch :\
