"THERE'S NO SUCH WORD AS 'BUSALOOEY'!"

Wow, this computer screen is wiggly. I just had my first truly satisfying group project experience. I usually detest group projects, because I either end up doing a project I'm not into, or doing all the work. Or both. Today 7 people from my psych stats class met and came up with an experiment and had a grand ol' time doing it. And we're ( Read more... )

I somehow find it difficult to picture you being squeamish about on-screen sex scenes.

I miss you. You should go study in Spain some more, and then take the ferry to Morocco. (Did you know that Rochester's ill-fated high-speed ferry was sold to a German country that now runs it between Spain and Morocco? It is my goal to find it and ride it, since I never did so in North America.)

I miss you too, John. I'll be back in Spain before too long, hopefully. Ojala. How long are you in Fez? Are you coming back at all over the holidays?

And no, normally I'm not squeamish about sex scenes, but I wasn't expecting them to be so frequent and graphic. I SHOULD have been expecting it, since everyone I've talked to says, "Yeeah, that's what that movie's known for..."

I was feeling responsible for my roomie's shock, so that played into it. Heh heh.

I'll eat YOUR personal pizza.

So it sounds like you had a weekend full of activities: friends, movies, good quotes, baking things...
Belly dancing, woo!

Also: I understand exactly what you say about group projects. I recently worked on a group project for ES class, where we had to use the Wedge model to come up with solutions to global warming and present them in a paper. Well, my group designed an illustrated children's book (complete with vocabulary words and study questions) instead of a paper. Twas more fun that way. And also satisfying to work things out in a group and brainstorm together.

See you in less than 48 hours!!!!!!!
