a sad moment of materialism and naivete for me

i had to do a ton of photocopying this morning ... like get to school an hour early to make sure it all gets done ... that kinda ton of photocopying

It was NOT your fault, seesty. Maybe you can guilt them into giving it back? Like, cry in front of your class or something and make them feel like big jerks?
