I love mutts.  They are fascinating exercises in genetics.  The little dog that we got last fall, Ivy, is a basenji/pekingese/poodle.  As time has passed, we've discovered that her basenji heritage (her sire, apparently) is predominant.  Her appearance is certainly more basenji than anything else.  She's shorter and more compact than a basenji, ( Read more... )
