On night shifts atm and I've only had about 4 hour's sleep so this post may be less coherent than usual.

(also fun fact, the batteries in my watch apparently died at about 0230 this morning while I was at work, but I didn't realise it until about a half hour ago, when I was woken and thought I had slept through from 0730 to 1430. sad panda)

Hey, sad panda.

Did I read this right - you can't use your new stuff because it works on a differet power supply system? Would getting one of these travel adapters that converts your power plus the physical layout of your socket to the one your headset would need? If that where the case, maybe someone living in a country with the right socket layout for your headset could send you an adapter.

Theoretically yes I can just use an adaptor. I have actually got a US to Australian adaptor floating around somewhere. But the package was supposed to come with an Australian connector in it. (it was also supposed to have a UK connector, I don't really care about that though)

You don't pay $300 to get an item from a local website offshoot of a large organisation only to have it missing two crucial components.
