Which was ironic, because the moment he sent that message she was already thinking of making tea. Tarts she'd already finished a while ago, but seeing that message only made her get a small basket to place them in and leave a small dinner for Terra and Ven to reheat whenever they decided to eat. Also leaving a note behind, she summoned her Glider and began the trek to the mansion. It wouldn't take long, but still... she had to calm herself after training and other things before arriving. There were some things that she didn't wish to bother Charles with, knowing he still seemed to have so much on his own plate.
The trip seemed to go by so quickly, however. Aqua dismissed her Glider, walking up to the door and giving a polite knock before entering. It was like a habit she picked up after visiting this place so often since September. '...Charles?'
That did seem to be a running trait between the two. They took on far too much and always struggled with doing it on their own. Being the leaders and teachers that they strove to be. Even being the telepath he was, Charles understood what shouldn't be said or looked into. He had to learn and respect privacy of others, at Hank's expense.
He looked up when he caught the thought. 'Hello, Aqua.'
Honestly? She stopped looking for the commonalities sometime after the previous month passed in this city. There were so many of them, she just began to shrug them off as it seemed that even time itself began to prolong itself. (Though, judging where her true self was...) Aqua smiled faintly at that thought, closing the door behind her and following the voice in her head.
"You wanted to see me, I believe," she said, entering the doorway to the kitchen with the basket still in hand. Hopefully they hadn't gotten too messed up in transport...
"I did." He nodded to her, leaning forward as the tea kettle began to whistle. Aqua had perfect timing. "I thought it was the best time to have a proper conversation now that certain things are out of the way."
Meaning, of course, that he had come to some sort of understanding with things happening with him. Friends were gone, but not forgotten. Sean and Alex were fine. Erik... well, Erik would take time.

"Do you have a preference for tea?"
