[A playground? Kairi is on it like white on rice, claiming the central tower as her own. She is the princess-knight, and anyone who comes close is going to either be her ally, or the meanie dragon trying to wreak havoc on her precious kingdom.

Who dares, kiddies? Who dares?]

[Kairi you confuse her. But her curiosity gets the best of her and looks up at the other girl.]

W-What are you doing?

I'm playing pretend!

[Duh. Isn't that obvious?]

O-Oh, what are you pretending to be?

[ He doesn't remember how he got to this weird place, just waking up one day and seeing a guy with really red hair in that house too. At first he'd been scared and wanted to run away but he wasn't fast enough and he didn't know where the door was either. But the red haired man (name's Axel, got it memorized?) didn't seem like a mean man and even gave him ice cream. And somehow, he just felt safe with him so he stayed.

But now Roxas wants to explore the outside, so he got one of those weird white flying animals (moogles) to take him around, eventually finding the park with the huge playground.

His eyes brighten, not sure what to do first. ]

[Hey. Hey, Roxas. There is a girl sitting on one of the nearby towers, legs dangling.]

Hey! Who're you?

He looks around, trying to find who said that before the moogle nudges him to look at the girl sitting on one of the tower, his eyes widening. Someone's here! He gives a small wave. ]

I'm Roxas!

I'm Kairi!

[She'll even let you borrow her toy sword.]

ADULT TABLE... I mean bench

[once Axel had secured Roxas' location, made sure he wasn't hurt, told him the rules about playing on this sort of stuff... he found a bench. No doubt placed there just for people like him.

Today? He's dressed in whatever was at the front of his closet because he needed to go find Roxas, fast. And that's a t-shirt, his scarf, and some jeans. He has a manpurse canvas tote bag next to him, filled with juice boxes, sweet and salty snacks, bottles of water... band-aids. He's the momma bird, after all. He takes out a water bottle for himself and cracks it open, taking a sip while still keeping the most watchful of eyes on the playground equipment]

[Yuuta knows a responsible adult when he sees one. So he'll, of course, go over to him and start chatting up a storm.]

Hi! I'm Yuuta and a little bit lost. You're the first adult I've seen except for on these computer things with the weird games but I wanted to talk to someone in real life and see if they knew anything about this place do you know anything?

[Wow. You are very chatty. Axel quirks a brow as the kid just walks up and starts talking.]

Uh. hi. Yeah, we seem to have a lack of adults, now. What do you want to know?

Anything! Like, what is this place? And how can we dream stuff up? I dreamed up my mom's bookcase! That isn't possible, is it?

The let's-all-go-put-ribbons-in-Cloud's-hair thread

[Instead of a bench, Cloud's sitting cross-legged on the sand at the edge of the playground. His sword's lying flat on the ground nearby. Kiddies are free to go take a closer look but Cloud's going to be very careful about not letting anyone, especially a kiddie touch it.

In his hair, was one ribbon tied haphazardly around one spiked bunch of hair. If you're a kiddie, feel free to tie more on. Fellow adults, go ahead and point and laugh. Cloud won't say a word, though his face will look like it's stuck on a half-embarrassed, half-resigned look.]

[Sephiroth doesn't think the playground is very entertaining. It's juvenile. He is also not paying attention to Cloud's hair.

Instead, he is playing with the Materia he found in the apartment where he woke up, hopping and teleporting from place to place, casting practice Fire and Ice spells.

He dreamed up a sword and armlet for himself, of course.]

[Cloud knew that growing up with Hojo is going to leave any kid odd, but he also thinks Sephiroth can try a little more.

Then again, he also knew that he himself wasn't the best person to advise kids on how to play with other kids, considering his own childhood.]

Leave it to you to start dreaming up weapons and materia right off. [Sigh]

[Sephiroth stops instantly and turns toward Cloud.]

I discovered the Materia in the apartment. [He'd removed it from his older self's armlet and Masamune.] I dreamed up the sword. The one in the apartment was incorrectly balanced for me.

I am training. [He announces this brightly; he's not allowed to do these things on his own in the lab.]

[Yeah this is Namine, being very awkward and attempting to hide behind the slide. She knows these kids...kind of. But she doesn't very much feel any courage to actually go and talk to any of them.

Anyone wanna talk to the shy little blond?]

[ Roxas still has his box of cookies in his hands that he got from Axel, trying to decide where to eat them, when he sees someone hiding behind the slide. Normally he's too shy to talk to anyone besides the moogles but Axel said he should make friends, right? So he approaches slowly, using the box of cookies to hide his face behind but it's not working as effectively as he think it is. ]

Um, hi.

[She jumps slightly and hides behind the slide a little bit more before poking her head out.]

H-Hi...
