[Kelly had ventured outside, eventually. He still didn't trust this place, but nothing was going to happen if he just sat around that room and moped about it. There was a beach nearby, he could tell, and the ocean always helped him clear his head. He walks, hopefully in the right direction, keeping his head down, occasionally glancing at the people on the streets around him warily.

It's in one of those glances that he sees her, walking in the other direction, and it takes a moment for recognition to really settle - because it didn't make sense if she was here too, did it? She's passed him, by that point, but he turns and goes after her.]

Eden?

[She isn't used to people noticing her, to people paying attention to her. That was... how they'd met, really. Eden carrying on in her own little daze and Kelly Bridge seeing fit to notice her. Or was it the boy in the pavement he'd seen first? It doesn't matter, this thirteen year old girl hasn't experienced it yet either way.

She stops on the sidewalk, turning to look over her shoulder silently. She doesn't recognize him, and she is rather perturbed that he knows her name, it shows in the sullen downturn of her little mouth.]

It is you. [He smiles slightly, not really completely relieved because it only made things more confusing.] Hey. I wasn't really expecting to see anyone I knew.

[Despite all the people insisting they knew him.]

Are your brothers here, too?

[Maybe that was it, it was something to do with Eden and her family and all their strangeness.]

[She frowns a little more, but there is something tremulous in her eyes. He knows her brothers? That is not entirely strange, maybe? Lehi has come down from the Hill before, Ram and Othniel with him, but rarely without her. Had she... simply not been paying attention when they met this boy?]

No. I am alone. Where are we?

[A more important question than who he was.]

[ Yet another terrible curse had befallen Promenade and, just like before, Sebastian had come out unscathed. He could not, however, say the same for his friends. Several of them had been affected by the rampant deaging that had stricken the Dream City, and while he'd tried to find a few of them he'd not been successful. He simply wanted to make sure they were alright. ]

[ Biting back a sigh he stuffed his hands into his coat pockets as he continued along the cobbled path. He catches a glimpse of a small girl and No. It- It couldn't be. Could it? His pace drops to a crawl and he looks toward her curiously. ]

...Eden?

[She pauses to glance over her shoulder. There is something strange about the energy around this man, but she does not know what. It is... enough that she does not keep walking, or perhaps it was because he knew her name.

She stares at him silently for a moment, chin ducking down slightly.]

Yes?

[ ...and just like some of the others she did not recognize or remember him. It's somewhat troublesome, but of course it's not their fault. Sebastian bites back a sigh and offers to her a smile. ]

I am Sebastian Michaelis,

[ He debates informing her that the two of them knew each other, but that would just come off as strange. He resists. ]
and I am a humble Butler in this fair City. I thought that I would extend both a greeting and my assistance, ...should you need it.

[ Sets a hand to his chest and bows. ]

[She is not sure she trusts that smile, nor his statements of what he may or may not be, but she is an arrogant little Morrison girl at the heart of it, and it is always welcome to see a man who knows his place.

She turns to face him fully.]

Why should you make such an offer?
