Who: Katakura Kojuro and Hino Rei/Sailor Mars When: Sept 1, day, before he learns his lord is missing Where: the beach What: Two warriors meet on the beach Warning: excessive staring
Sailor Mars hadn't hesitated to make her way to the beach. She wasn't sure what to expect with this samurai, she had wanted to wait to see him in person to see if he was one of the enemy or not. She was ready for anything as she approached.
As soon as she was a few feet away from him, Mars stopped, her stance stiff, ready to summon her bow if needed. She didn't sense any evil around him but that didn't mean he wasn't dangerous. "You must be the samurai then," she greeted him, her tone even but not cold.
Kojuro turned and looked the unusual warrior over. No armor to speak of, no visible weapons. Her outfit didn't speak warrior at all, but then again, in his world, not everyone looked like the 'typical samurai'.
"Katakura Kojuro," he offered with a nod, "the Dragon's Right Eye. You must be Mars." It was an interesting name she had, foreign, probably English. His lord spoke a little English, and Kojuro, as the loyal retainer he was, probably spoke it too, though he never used it.
"I am," she nodded in return, crossing her arms. Her dark eyes never left his, watching his every move. "How long have you been in this place?" she asked, curious. If they were going to assist each other, she wanted to know more about him. She wasn't ready to trust him with her identity either, not just yet.
He'd been watching her too. Kojuro was a strategist; he wanted to see what he could learn about her from her movements, try to judge her weapons before she drew them. He wasn't about to be caught off guard and unarmed. But he hadn't seen any threatening movements yet, so he simply stood in the sand, his hand resting on the hilt of his sword.
"Several months I've been trapped here," he replied, not offering any extra information. She seemed to be studying him in return. Perhaps she was a strategist as well.
