Riku.

[Correcting her is an automatic response, but he freezes when he realizes just to what and whom.

Narrowing his eyes, he disregards the weird comment about his hairstyle and focuses on the important issue.]

How do you know my name?

[He frowns, then shakes his head and resists the urge to correct her a second time.]

I think you've got me confused with someone.

[Aqua was just minding her own business, and by 'minding her own business' we mean 'specifically looking about for the source of what she felt that made a shiver go down her spine.' This means she's just wandering the house as well, writing down her thoughts upon arrival here and what she saw over her PORTAL.

Terra was here and himself, Sora was suddenly a teenager, not to mention Kairi was too and Ven had a twin--

That Darkness was getting closer. Closing her journal quickly, she meant to call out "Who's there?!" but no words came out. Surprised at this, she ends up covering her own mouth before quietly summoning Brightcrest and turning the corner-

'...huh?' Okay, now this was getting... a little weird.]

[Riku had always been good at sneaking - far better than Sora, which admittedly isn't much of an accomplishment, considering how clumsy the other is at times - and had pretty much mastered the skill in Hollow Bastion - because that is pretty much the only way to get any sort of upper hand on people as dubious as Maleficent's little group of villains.

Not that it had mattered much in the end.

Of course there aren't many corners to hide in the hallway, which makes him kind of a little nervous when he smells that light...

It's not a familiar smell, but whoever it belongs to is powerful - Riku can tell that much.

He knows what people from the light think of the darkness - what he himself had thought until his fight with Zexion - but sometimes being with Mickey, who understands (which Riku realizes he can't be grateful enough for), makes him forget just a little.

He isn't exactly sure where the light comes from until that woman rounds the corner-

...is that a Keyblade?]

[Yes, yes that is a Keyblade.

With the world order to be kept, she had gotten used to sneaking about in the background as well. As she got closer, however, Aqua couldn't help but think it was familiar somehow. When their eyes meet, she senses the light within as well; it's strong, held in place and grasped by the Darkness.

She feels pity for this boy who seems so familiar.]

That face... [The master is guarded at best, not sure if she should let her guard down around someone with such a strong presence... but she can sense it much clearer, that familiar power and who it's possibly descended from.] Do I know you-?

[The Keyblade vanishes in a swirl of petals and light.]

[...a Keyblade, huh?

Funny, Riku hadn't thought that there were any Wielders out there beside Sora's and Mickey's - at least nowadays.

She looks familiar though for some reason, but he surely would remember meeting another Keyblade Wielder, wouldn't he (he isn't the one who's got his memory all messed up after all)?]

The only other was that guy, so-

[She seems to know him too though and thinking about that guy, the stranger that had visited their world so long long ago, kind of almost jogs his memory concerning her...

Besides, since he is very sure he hasn't met her after leaving the Islands, that leaves only one place they could have met at anyways.]

[ well, that's been a truly arduous day. Sora stretches his arms above his head as he starts walking home, Teneka enabled in case he runs into anyone on his way. last time he did, he bumped into Quorra, after all, better keep an eye out.

he stops a little ways before the building as he sees a head of silver hair dart out, and of course, on instinct, he tries to yell.

but it just comes out as yelling in thought. ]

Riku!!

[Riku has just finally made it out of the house - still without any sort of idea what's really going on here (but pretty convinced that he will find those Organization involved again all the same) when he hears someone yelling.

Inside his head.

Someone who suspiciously sounds like-]

...Sora?

[Except that it can't be him. ...Right?

He looks around, trying to figure out the source of that voice(?).]

Riku! There you are!

[ oh, it's such a relief to see him, that's awesome. he thought he'd be gone for --

... waiiit.

... he squints and then straightens. ]

Riku, you shrunk.

[...Okay, this guy looks like Sora - even though he's clearly too tall.

He talks like Sora too.

The smell seems right too, except... it still can't be him. Sora is sleeping in Castle Oblivion after all, watched over by Namine and DiZ, waiting to get his memories back. There's just no way he'd run into him in this... where ever here is.

He snorts and smirks.]

Cute. I have no idea why anyone would try this again when it already failed the first time around, but I'll admit you almost had me for a moment.

[The smirk disappears as he narrows his eyes and glares.]

Now... Who are you really?

[That twinge of a very familiar Darkness was more than enough to put Terra back on edge. With it being as close as it is... he can't sit still. He has to find it.

It was with Ends of the Earth in hand that Terra found himself wandering around, trying to track down the source of that Darkness that set all of his instincts back on high alert.]

[Riku has almost made it to the ground floor and out of the house when suddenly an unknown smell hits his senses, a powerful presence, nearing quickly.

Riku frowns, shortly wondering what to do, before quietly twisting his hand to summon Soul Eater. He prefers to be prepared, just in case.

After all, the darkness is strong in him and not everyone believes that darkness doesn't equal evil.]

Edit: Feel free to have Riku hear the in-brackets italicised thoughts. Not so good with TENEKA yet.

['Where are you, Xehanort?' Terra was getting closer, and he knew it. What was that smug bastard doing here? Had he been pulled to this place at the same time as he had?

'You can't hide forever.' Exiting the stairwell, he stopped and closed his eyes, reaching out with his senses to pinpoint the exact location of that Darkness--

'There!' Around the corner, just a few feet away--] I know you're there, Xehanort--

[Except no sound came out. 'A Silence spell?' ... right. The things that Sora had sent him to read; they'd said something about silence at night. ... well, that didn't matter..]

[The smell is getting closer and closer, causing Riku tighten his grip on Soul Eater as he reaches up to pull the hood of his cloak. He is almost certain that this person isn't part of the Organization - there is nothing like the strange ting of nothingness he's sensed in Castle Oblivion in this smell.

It doesn't hurt to be careful though; especially since the cloak is supposed to help hide his presence ('According to DiZ anyways.') and he's starting to hear voices in his head - again - and he can't help but wonder...]

...Who the heck is Xehanort?

[Though, considering that this person seems to be just around the corner, he is probably just about to find out.]

[Members of a certain Organization, eh?

Well, here's one for you, Riku. There's a girl with short black hair wearing the Organization coat sitting just outside of House 13. She's minding her own business, eating sea salt ice cream.

What do, Riku? What do?]

[Stepping out of the building, Riku takes a deep breath as he wonders what else this place is going to have in store for him - he already had his fair share of surprise-run-ins inside the house after all.

That's when his gaze falls on the girl sitting there; it couldn't be-]

...Kairi?

[Not, it can't be her, it can't be. There is no way he'd ever see her where a cloak like that. Great, another Organization experiment then?

Not that's much of a surprise all things considered. Still, he feels his anger rising - it was bad enough that they'd tried to use Sora and himself, but now even Kairi? He is not going to let them get away with that.]

[Xion turns at the sound of someone's voice, blinking.]

"Kairi"?

[And she sees a boy there, silver hair, bright blue eyes. She tilts her head a little. He seems... almost familiar somehow.]

I'm sorry, but... My name's Xion. [pause] I haven't seen you around here before. Are you new?

[Riku narrows his eyes at her - anger boiling beneath his skin as he hisses:]

As if you don't know. What is this, another recruitment attempt?

[If it is, then it sure isn't going to work.]
