Terra was here and himself, Sora was suddenly a teenager, not to mention Kairi was too and Ven had a twin--
That Darkness was getting closer. Closing her journal quickly, she meant to call out "Who's there?!" but no words came out. Surprised at this, she ends up covering her own mouth before quietly summoning Brightcrest and turning the corner-
'...huh?' Okay, now this was getting... a little weird.]

Not that it had mattered much in the end.
Of course there aren't many corners to hide in the hallway, which makes him kind of a little nervous when he smells that light...
It's not a familiar smell, but whoever it belongs to is powerful - Riku can tell that much.
He knows what people from the light think of the darkness - what he himself had thought until his fight with Zexion - but sometimes being with Mickey, who understands (which Riku realizes he can't be grateful enough for), makes him forget just a little.
He isn't exactly sure where the light comes from until that woman rounds the corner-
...is that a Keyblade?]

With the world order to be kept, she had gotten used to sneaking about in the background as well. As she got closer, however, Aqua couldn't help but think it was familiar somehow. When their eyes meet, she senses the light within as well; it's strong, held in place and grasped by the Darkness.
She feels pity for this boy who seems so familiar.]
That face... [The master is guarded at best, not sure if she should let her guard down around someone with such a strong presence... but she can sense it much clearer, that familiar power and who it's possibly descended from.] Do I know you-?
[The Keyblade vanishes in a swirl of petals and light.]

Funny, Riku hadn't thought that there were any Wielders out there beside Sora's and Mickey's - at least nowadays.
She looks familiar though for some reason, but he surely would remember meeting another Keyblade Wielder, wouldn't he (he isn't the one who's got his memory all messed up after all)?]
The only other was that guy, so-
[She seems to know him too though and thinking about that guy, the stranger that had visited their world so long long ago, kind of almost jogs his memory concerning her...
Besides, since he is very sure he hasn't met her after leaving the Islands, that leaves only one place they could have met at anyways.]

That sense of familiarity hasn't failed her yet, nor has the sincerity she keeps sensing under the dark power that is far too similar to another's for comfort. ..."That guy"-? Was he talking about Terra, or was he like Ven and had a face-twin?]
Only once- [-!! Wait. Is this the very same boy after all, just like Sora and aged more than should be possible in less than a few week's time-?

The more he thinks about it, the more the feeling of familiarity is growing. He shakes his head and reaches up to rub his temples...

Aqua watches quietly, focusing on the boy's heart. Sure enough... that light was still there, just clouded; like Terra's. She feels horrible that she couldn't prevent it, and with how strong the dark is within him- --!!
She knows that darkness, and it's enough to make her gasp silently.] Riku?
...It's alright if you don't remember. You were little, after all.

[He still frowns, not quite looking at her as a mix of annoyance and uncertainty flickers over his face - he hates that it feels like he almost remembers, but can't quite get a grip on the memory.]

... I never properly introduced myself. I'm Aqua. [She holds out a hand, not going to attack.]

[He trails off as he takes her hand to shake it, which somehow is weird and awkward on several levels, especially since he is still trying to remember... (and bits and pieces are starting to come back; kind laughter, a hand permanently his hair and suddenly he remembers thinking that she was really pretty, this lady from the outside world...)]
I think I remember now... some of it at least.

[He knows she'd asked them something back then, but he still has no idea what exactly that had been about.]

[Because now that she thinks about it... she did kind of jump down right in front of them. Oops.]

[Nothing really negative comes to mind, not even with the way she had startled them... they didn't have any concept of the danger that could come from the outside back then.]

While she's glad that there wasn't anything negative about her in Riku's mind, Aqua still can't help but inwardly wince at just how... familiar the darkness in his heart was. Not just Terra's power, but another's sealed away and weakened greatly.
Sora's hesitation, seeing Terra stab himself in the chest with Terra's Keyblade, the gold eyes... She doesn't even realize what she thinks next was sent to his mind as well. 'What happened in the realm of light after I...'
Yet there's still a smile on her lips, however faint.]

He has to wonder though... she doesn't seem very different to what he remembers and if there had been a Keyblade Wielder around before Sora had shown up besides Mickey, then where had they had been when the Heartless had started to run wild?
Something isn't adding up.
Normally he wouldn't try to pry; that last though had sounded more like a whisper, not meant to be said/thought out loud, but right now he can't help it.]
