Altaïr avowed January 12 2011, 22:11:49 UTC
[He's rarely in the house, trying to avoid those within it, though today he's made the decision to head back for whatever reason. Climbing in through the window nearest his own bed, Altaïr doesn't expect the witch to be there, and he shoots a glare her direction once he's pulled himself up and found stable footing.]

Of?

[His only reply, brusque and with a tinge of annoyance.]

Familiarity.

[ She knows he already holds a lowly opinion of her, and frankly, she only wishes to encourage it. Perhaps that's why she's visiting him so impromptu; along with her other reasons. It's a small tick in her head, a knowledge that he would most likely hate her within the time they'd be forced to live with one another.

She looked forward to it. ]

Solving the complexity of the game board before one makes a move... ah, though I suppose that's unnecessarily cryptic. If I am to live with you, I wish to at least know who you are. We might not be allied pieces, but information is beneficial to anyone here.

I'M NOT SURE WHY HIS NAME IS IN THAT SUBJECT LINE THERE avowed January 12 2011, 23:09:51 UTC
Information can easily be a weapon in the wrong hands.

[His glare intensifies.]

Of course.

But we are not enemies. We have opposing methods to solving the puzzle set before us, but there are those of us who've 'awoken' and those who say we've lived here forever. Unless we make enemies of each other of our own volition, there's only two clear opposing forces.

Us, and the game masters.

Ezio had been out and about the town yet again, always moving and never really returning to the room that had been given to him unless sleep was absolutely necessary. He had grown use to his odd sleeping pattern, or lack there of, really.

Now, as he sauntered in through the window, Ezio couldn't help but feel something was off. Something was wrong. Just as his feet touched ground he heard the unfamiliar voice, his head snapping in her direction.

"Che?" He lifted a brow up, trying to discern if he even knew this woman, or how she had gotten into his room. No matter, "A chat?"

"A greeting." Politely said. "We're housemates, I apologize if my intrusion is... unwelcome." It was the sort of apology that didn't sound like one at all, given as a courtesy rather than sincere.

"Unless you are busy, signore?"

Ezio remained where he was, looking more defensive than he intended. A housemate? Obviously Ezio had not bothered to actively seek out the others that lived here. Maybe because he didn't care, or have much of a reason to do so. He was not a rude man though, so he bowed politely in proper greeting.

"Forgive my rudeness, madonna. I did not expect company," and if he had, he didn't expect her. "I can spare a few minutes. What is it you wish to discuss?"

"Information, if you have any. If that's an impolite subject for a first meeting, I suppose asking your name will have to do."

It was coy and flat, tempered in the perfect way for one not to tell if she was joking or not. She'd let him decide if she was being sarcastically polite or plain blunt.

*crusin' on into her room with a can of soda in her hand and just. Staring. It is not a polite stare.*

What the fuck? If you're here for some kind of lolita tea party you are in the wrong damn place.

[ A very barely noticeable twitch. Act more refined in front of your betters goddamn you. ]

To be honest, it's tempting to leave already.

Hell, I ain't stoppin' you. You're cramping in on my blue-haired dominance here.

Then again, only a pedo or a guy with a bunch of fetishes would go after you.

Whatever, a vulgar piece is amusing. [ She sees no problem with dropping the mask this time. ]
