Who: Equius and Yako What: Dinner! Where: Um, at some restaurant Yako probably told him to come to, since he has no idea When: Just after the changeover into night Warnings: None yet o/
Yako had picked a table somewhat close to the door, so she could see when the young troll made his appearance. It wasn't very long at all before she saw that flash of telltale grey skin. Despite herself, she felt her eyebrows raise. That was one ripped kid.
Seeing him looking around, she smiled and gave a small wave, projecting her mental 'voice' as directly as she could. There were only a few other diners, but she didn't want to disturb them.
He saw the wave and looked in that direction the moment before he heard her voice echo in his mind. He rubbed his temple distractedly as he walked towards her, still limping a little from his injury. There was a bandage around his left leg, just above the knee, and a ring of bruises around his neck that were still sapphire and purple.
He didn't know why she'd called him that. But it sounded like an honorific, so he supposed it would do.
Yako, I presume? he replied to her as he reached her table. He cautiously pulled the chair out and sat on it, moving with a sort of deliberateness that said he was trying not to break anything.
My inner HSfan is cracking up at these conclusionsitaidakimasuMay 12 2011, 22:36:56 UTC
Yeah. Her eyes scanned over the injuries, growing with concern. Are you alright? I'm sorry, if I'd known you were hurt we could have put this off to some other time... She gave him a sympathetic look, mistaking his exact movements as ones intended gingerly, possibly from hidden wounds.
Poor kid. She felt her heart twang with pity. He looked like he'd been through the wringer. Broken horn, cracked teeth, proof of attempted strangulation, his leg...Of course, that could probably be chalked up to escaping a doomed planet.
I'm lmaoing so much at this hahabl00_bl00dMay 12 2011, 22:40:39 UTC
Hurt? He looked down at himself. Sure, the arrow wound was still a bit tender, but if he couldn't work through something so minor, he didn't deserve to call himself STRONG.
He looked up, and felt himself beginning to sweat a bit at the shining look of sympathy in her eyes. It's nothing. No need to put this off for such a trifle.
