It's just a silly phase I'm going through
Who: Equius and Yako
What: Dinner!
Where: Um, at some restaurant Yako probably told him to come to, since he has no idea
When: Just after the changeover into night

Equius adjusted his sunglasses as he walked up to the restaurant, looking around uncertainly at the passing inhabitants. He had his leather horse-head mask tucked under his arm now that the sun was down. He had experimented with the sunlight, going out just a little before dusk, and he found that it hadn't hurt his eyes. But he was glad that the sun was down now, and unsure whether he would try it at high noon, just yet.
It was annoying to feel his throat close, though, and to know that he couldn't speak for the next twelve hours. A very uncomfortable feeling. But at least he had figured out the telepathy thing - a strange sensation, but it worked, and was convenient enough for the hours when their cruel and capricious captors had decided their puppets wouldn't be able to speak.
It made him angry to think about it, but he tried to put it out of his mind for now.
This was reconnaissance. He would make up for his failure, and find out something useful.
He stepped inside and glanced around, peering from face to face to try to identify the human girl who had invited him to dine with her.
