Pay no attention to the masked man browsing the shelves, bringing with him the feeling of cosmic wrongness to those capable of sensing such things. He stops in the religious aisles, casting a disdainful eye over the Bible shelf before turning his head - revealing no straps holding the mask in place - to peruse a rack of witchcraft books. He picks up a leather-bound Satanic Bible and chuckles.

"We aren't the only ones here with important work to do," Lucifer suggested with a tone of almost urgency. He knew just how to lace his words to appeal to people, to make them want to listen. "What have people actually done about it?"

Yuuta scowled a bit harder. "I have yet to try to find the exile, the one who left us the note. I'm too new here, and I don't know enough to actually start anything. That's why I plan to find others who want to get out of here and see what they know. If they'd like to, they might like to meet here so we can collaborate something."

Lucifer took a few slithering steps around Yuuta, baring velveted fangs in a come-hither smile. "Maybe you should. Maybe we all should try to find the Exile." The angel circled around him to come around to his front, leaning in with predator's eyes, words dripping honey-sweet with that original-sin allure. "Maybe we all should take off our masks and learn to speak. Maybe we should storm the castle, or burn down the Unnatural and see if the dead stay dead." He was much, much taller than Yuuta, and leaned so close the man could feel icy breath on his face. "You are not alone."

Yuuta stepped back as Lucifer circled, narrowing his eyes. He heard the honey words, the temptation, and he had heard it all before from demons who had tried to lure him out of his room, past the wards his grandmother made for him to protect him from them.

"Get away from me, oni," he hissed. "I know someone trying to get me killed when I see it."
