Me: Uni-blah-crazy-professors-unhappening-projects-newspaper-blah.
Mother: You know how people born many years ago are now passing their driving tests? I think you should learn.
Me: ...Mummy, have you met my friend the non-sequiteur?
Mother: *stern glare*
Me: All right. You remember that time I got into a car with an instructor?
Me: And I nearly ( Read more... )

golly, I should think motorcycles are worse: at least you can't fall out of a car.

Yeah, I suspect my mother would not have been quite so assertive if she hadn't spent the day carting my sister round the local post-code.

hai :DD *waves*

Uhm, I don't think you should worry. I was going to do it when i turned 18 and then Uni happened and whatnot and didn't and then I GOT SHITLESS SCARED, but then it wasn't that horrible( and i didn't even had to park on my test which was kind of awesome XDXDXD!).. IDK. It's pretty useful ;D

*waves again* XD

(uhm, and arent' the cars like.. special? here he had his own set of breaks and such o_o! not wheel, but at least breaks XD!).

*waves a last time and leaves* o_o

haii! i should have done this ages ago! <33

Exactly, I tried a car at 18, was LETHAL, and then figured it didn't matter because it was uni-time. Except uni-time's almost done now and apparently it's a hurdle that doesn't dissolve over time like it should. :D

better late than never ;D

well, I did it with 20 years if I'm not wrong. and it went fine, i don't think you should be worried, just take it easy and take as many classes as you need. (for uni reasons I had to stp in the middle, so, in the end I had to take one or two lessons more). and in the end is useful, I don't use the car everyday, but sometimes if I'm a rush, or sorta emergencies, it turns very useful~~ ;D

Ahahahah WELL. The only time I have hit something whilst driving, it was a pillar in a multi-storey car park which, idk, JUMPED IN FRONT OF MY CAR, or something.

I HATED driving for the first six months after passing, but it gets better! And if I can get the hang of it, anyone can :) Although it is quite easy to say this from the midlands, far away from your hurtling around London... ;)

Aha, that will be me. moving pillars. disappearing road signs. unexpected red lights. The lot.

And and, the midlands has roads, which makes it as dangerous as other places that have them. :P
