Of course we have our ups and downs, but I can say with total honesty they're mostly ups. :D But I do admit I'm very lucky -- the trick is to never forget that, I think. Then you want to work out the "downs" as quickly and earnestly as possible.
Thai food -- you are korrek, my friend. Lily's recently got me into Korean food too. Hoo boy...ever been to Shik do rak in K-town? Mouth-watering goodness...
Seeing your parents 4 times a year isn't so bad.. trying seeing them every 2 weeks... they get..... annoying...... especially when all they do is ask if you have a girlfriend yet, why not, why did you have to let the last one go, and to hurry up or you're going to miss the boat....
Yeah, a couple of years ago, I thought about moving home for a while, to save money. But I know I could never do it. No matter how much I love them, they know how to push all my buttons (or, as Bill Cosby once said, they installed all my buttons!).
Actually, that's not fair, they never try to push them -- they just are difficult presences for me to have so close for too long, because it makes feel like a kid again! :D
