It wasn't stalking, he told himself, because he wasn't following her. Even if he had been, it would be for a perfectly good reason--their last meeting had been quite bitter and he had set his mind on being, at least, on amiable terms with her. Though he wasn't certain that she was the same Mina that he had once known (or rather, so he hoped, there would be less to explain that way), she was still Mina, and he couldn't help but feel responsible for her condition. Of course, if he was honest, it also had to do a lot with himself; being forgiven would give him a peace of mind that he hadn't had in years.
So, he wasn't following her. Rather, he was standing a couple of blocks away from her house, waiting for her to walk by.
