I can't believe the year is nearly over.

Friday was my 3rd prenatal visit. Everything looked great according to our midwife. She said I had good pee (meaning my glucose levels are fine, no infections, and  no proteins)! Yay! We got to listen to the baby's heartbeat again. 144 bpm. The midwife kinda joked with us when she first placed the dopplar on

I literally LOLed when I read about your good pee. ;) Haha, I'm glad that test turned out well! Speaking of tests, the idea of a gender test based off heartbeat seems a bit silly, but who knows, maybe it's a decent indicator. Or you could, in fact, have a boy. ;)

That crib you bought, by the way (I saw a picture on FB), is absolutely gorgeous! I love the sheets you have for it, too. Baby's gonna love that thing!

I don't know. Apparently female hearts tend to beat faster. it was the main technique used prior to ultrasounds but everything I've read says it's not very accurate. Still 80% according to the midwife isn't bad.

I'm so glad someone is still reading! A lot of my LJ peeps are no longer on LJ or have quit posting. I think FB is all the craze right now. But I think LJ is a little more personal and more work too. I don't share it with everyone. I started it when I first left high school. And don't worry, you're probably more up to date than a lot of people who still live in town or closer than you do. ;)
