Well, it was kind of a horrible summer. I had all sorts of personal shit to get through, which I won't be getting into any more detail, because I really don't want to be dragging it all back up again. Let's just say things were looking pretty fracking bleak for a while there, and leave it at that

Yeah, it did really suck. I really am doing much better now, so at least there's that. :)

There's really so many cons all around the country now, that one can't almost keep track anymore. I usually go to one to three in a year, with Ropecon and Tracon being first on the can't miss list. The one I was talking about is Fanfest, which is held for the first time this year. It's 5. and 6. of October in Paasitorni and I'm planning on staying the whole weekend so if you are around Helsinki at that time, maybe we could grab coffee or something at some point?

Oh cool! I've always liked Otaniemi, it's really beautiful, at least in the summer. Although, I guess when you're living there, the four thousand or so geeks may not seem like an improvement. :D

That sounds really great. Assuming a friend of mine is able to house me for the entire weekend, I'll be coming on friday and staying until Sunday. I will be volunteering at the con though, and for now, I have no idea when my shifts will be, but other than that, my scheduale should be pretty flexible. :)
