I just sent out a polite but nasty email to someone who is entitled, ahem, doesn't feel like understanding deadlines. The answer is no. No, I can't change things for you because you didn't feel like reading and you feel special. No, I won't take time off of work to accommodate you. If you had an emergency I certainly would have.

Cookies are almost done!
Tomorrow I get to go sell cookies because I over ordered, and I have 91 boxes to get rid of. I'll be carting most of them around the neighborhood in the hopes that people will buy them. I'm now trying to figure out how to politely say "I left the letter with your secretary. Do you want me to drop by Monday and give you a copy?". My life is thrilling. (I did figure out what to do at the Girl Scout meeting, which is good!). -

Morticia's clean teeth
Morticia made it out of her teeth cleaning just fine and has clean chompers. (Not that I was irrationally worried or anything.) I hope that she didn't bite anyone. -
Spelling bee and trip to Dallas
I'm going to be in a Spelling Bee today with a couple of my co-workers. I'm really excited. We got second place last year, and I'm secretly hoping for first this year.
I'm also going to Dallas for the day later in the week, so if I'm not online much, this is why. More later. -
