Gary Gygax is dead
Its all over work at the moment... Gary Gygax, one of the original co-creators of D&D, is dead. Several people at work (WotC) had been with TSR long enough to know him, so its a bit crazy here today.
As someone who used to play in the Greyhawk universe in early D&D, its a sad thing. -

Yeah I came down with something. What I don't know yet, but I'm achy, cold, stomach upset, and feel fatigued (so probably flu-like). Staying home from work today and hoping to go back to sleep soon. Maybe later get a little more done on my take home project or make up a little bit of the work I'm missing today. Either way, sleep now. -

No More Heroes
Matt and I have been playing NMH most of the day and its so VERY very odd and wonderful. ^_^ Picture a random joe blow (I keep thinking of him as Joe even though his name is Travis) who collects anime and figurines (otaku!), living in a town called Santa Destroy, with a bank named Destroy Bank. :D Into which he physically plugs cash into an ATM. :D ( Read more... ) -
