When how why did Wolfram fall for Yuuri?

Oct 31, 2010 17:25

Hi all,

It's me again and like I said, I became a fan of KKM and of Wolfram/Yuuram only recently. I've watched the whole anime and read every bit of the novels that is available in English, but I still have a question regarding Wolfram's feelings for Yuuri. At the beginning, because Yuuri is half Mazoku and half human, Wolfram looked down on him the ( Read more... )

I'm sorry that I'm not in the mood of typing a long comment now as I practically don't sleep all night *yawn*

But anyway, my interpretation is written in my on-going fanfiction. I'm not promoting it, but really, I wrote everything there including all the hints and facts I got from the anime. Because I noticed several weird facts in the anime which contradict Wolfram's love to Yuuri. But it doesn't mean I doubt Wolfram, as he's not the type of person who could lie that lightly. It's just I believe there are things that caused it, or maybe triggered it. So I tried to match all the pieces together and find the true answer lol.

Oh yes, sure. If I'm not wrong, the first 4 chapters talked about this matter if you just want to know about the hints I picked up from the series. It's such an old fic btw, please bear my old writing style lol.

Thanks for the link to your fanfic. I've learned about different interpretations by reading fanfic, and I'll read yours too.

No problem.

Any questions you can ask me 3 weeks later, I have a good mind to re-read all the novels and re-watch the series (anyone wants to do that with me? XD)

Hi there~ I'm normally a lurker, to be honest, but your question got me thinking and all, so I wanted to say something about it. Just to warn you, though, I'm going to be totally biased--being a loyal and avid Yuuram/WolfYuu fan that I am, so I apologize beforehand if any of the things that I said offended anyone.

I'm not going to comment about why Wolfram wouldn't accept Yuuri as a Maou when they first met; I prettu much agree with lieselope about that. Let's discuss the stuff that comes after, shall we? xD ( ... )

You know what's interesting, though? Even with all his good points, he still retains and displays qualities that teenagers are best known for. If Yuuri were to be a 'goody-goody' character--obediently following Gunter's lesson or even stopped playing baseball because no one's interested in Shin Makoku--he'd lose the 'adventure' point that made him a teenager. Wolfram, being a teenager no matter how mature he acts, I believe, deep down likes this side of Yuuri, too. I mean, he never refuses when Yuuri tried to get him sneaking out together, right? Yuuri always gives people the impression that he is gracious, trusting, and lenient. And this impression has caused others to wonder if his level of naiveté makes him “blind” to what truly goes on in the world. But with Wolfram, Yuuri was a true teenager--they fought over the silliest thing, they debate, they bicker, they bondedThen comes Greta. Some people might think that Greta's one of the reason why Wolfram and Yuuri gets so close, but I personally think, even if she wasn't there, both ( ... )

Beautiful!

In any case, Wolfram's just too proud to admit that he is fond of Yuuri and Conrad. As you have seen in the 'Betrothed VS Fiancee" episode, he didn't admit that the reason he was engaged to Elizabeth was because of an accident slap XD

Wolfram sees himself as the guardian of Yuuri and constantly looks out for him, taking it as a duty as a soldier of the Demon King in the beginning but it later evolves into him looking out for Yuuri because he genuinely cares for Yuuri.
