I rarely use Facebook, but when I do, my friend feed is always cluttered with status updates from "friends" I don't care about. Mostly people who went to high school with me. I never talked to these people, but I accepted their friend requests anyway because denying them seemed rude.
Anyway, I decided to change my preferences so I would only see

I was actually looking at gifs of Aang from today's episode, and the voice I heard in my head for him was much older. Sokka...I don't like when characters grow up and stop acting like themselves, but there is a time to be serious and even he should know that.
Mako is a master jerkbender. Asami is not your personal wallet/driver, but your ally and girlfriend and she has a lot going on.
When Tahno starts to recover mentally, he should face Amon. That would be lovely.

I can even understand where Mako is coming from, as someone who gets really confused every time romance pops into the equation. However, I do wish someone would call him out on it. At this point, I wouldn't blame Asami for dumping him.
That would be awesome, but sadly, I don't think it's going to happen... unless the equalists are still a major player in season 2, in which case it's a possibility.

It feels like Mako is becoming more of a jerk while Korra is growing out of it. She's at least not openly jealous/weird with Asami anymore. Except in this episode he was Korra's perfect prince or something.
The Equalists disappearing completely in two episodes, unless there's a time skip, is a lot. Even if Amon is gone they might be like Team Rocket in GSC. A major player though? Nah.

--er well. I do hope it's not just him dropping Asami and "winning" Korra. Egh.
As for how Korra escaped, she hooked the cloth from her armband through the bars at the top of the box and hung from it, so she wasn't in touch with any metal to conduct the electricity.

I get the feeling that the whole "bloodbending outside of a full moon" thing will never get explained, and it bothers me. It was never explained why Combustion Man could bend the way that he did, and I see that it'll probably get the same treatment with Yakone and Tarrlok. I think Yakone and Tarrlok are meant to be the only people who can bloodbend outside of the full moon, but still an explanation would be nice.
Everyone kinda fawns over Mako but really I'm kinda tired of him? Like you said he's giving a lot of mixed signals and it's been going on since like ep 5 or so and it's getting a little old. Asami just needs to dump his ass. I was also hoping Bolin was still harboring feelings for Korra but from his dialog it doesn't sound like it...

Now that you mention it... yes, I think that's the reason I hated Combustion Man so much. Without an explanation, he seemed too much like a plot device and/or "Monster of the Week".
I'm tired of him too, and I loved him at first. I think it's all the love triangle shenanigans that ruined him for me. He was much more interesting when he focused on his own goals and on protecting his brother. I like Bolin/Korra, though I'm not sure I trust the writers to handle it correctly, after the disaster that is Mako/Asami/Korra.
