I agree, I think Reshi-rem looks better..? Even though they kinda both look like a train wreck. I hope there's a story explaining their appearance in the games? I have a sneaking suspicion team plasma will say "POOR KYUREM he needs to be LIBERATED and restored to his full power!!!" and this is what becomes of them trying to fix kyurem. They'll say "Poor forgotten kyurem!!"

I'm excited to play the games, though! I love the idea of a whole new plot. I was sad they didn't call it gray version, though. They could have made it a whole new plot and just called it gray, right? :'( oh well.

I'm hoping that they'll look better in the game sprites or once we see them animated. Something about the current poses is throwing me off. I think it's the angle of the tail. Like, they wanted to make sure you could see their tails clearly, but to do that, it made some of the proportions look wonky.

I don't think calling it Gray would be a smart idea if it has a whole new plot. People like me would see the name and think "I'm not sure if I want to buy this if it's just going to be the standard third game in the series with no new content."

Of course, I already got my preferred Pokemon game name with Pearl, so I don't have much right to complain on the naming issue.

Looking back, I think the biggest problem with the sugi art is what you mentioned; the perspective is all over the place (not that I don't do that sometimes) I think it's compounded by the lack of bilateral symmetry, but Kyurem is like that.

I'll look forward to some 3D figures and more art before I start doodling them more. DXD

I really like how broken they are, reminds me of parallel evolution and some of the seriously weird things nature gets up to. But I suspect I'm biased, I love dragon pokemon, perhaps too much :D

I get kind of annoyed at the people lamenting 'no grey'. I'm not big on the third game, it always seems like a 'rehash' and I never look forward to that. I honestly do not get why people want Grey over BW2. I asked on DA, and no one could explain why, just 'it's the way it's done' *squints eyes*

I'd like a R/S/E remake, but I'd much prefer more games centred around BW, to be honest. But if you can travel to hoenn in the sequels, how cool would that be?

I do it too, but I guess I don't expect Sugimori to do it on the official art. From past experience, the perspective problems seem to be mostly fixed when more official art is released. It may just be a case of "must show every aspect of this Pokemon in one image".

I saw your doodles and thought "wow, she's much more ambitious than I am." I don't think I want to try drawing these two until I have a figure in front of me. Dragons, how do they work?

I don't get why people want Grey over sequels either. The only "third game" I loved was Emerald, and that was only because they introduced the Battle Frontier and some changes that made breeding much easier. I bought the others third games out of habit and because I could afford them at the time, but I'm not sure if I'd buy a Grey version unless it had a lot of changes.

Tbh, the main reason I want an RSE remake is for the Kyogre merch it will inevitably create. And, hopefully, more gen 3 Pokedolls. I liked the RSE games well enough minus that stupid rival battle by the cycling road, but ( ... )

hey, I never thought of that. I wish for more Salamence merch! Wouldn't mind some Kyogre and Rayquaza merch as well. :D

This is my 1st time seeing this so thank you. lol I;m kinda disappoint with the fusions but I guess its better that having just regular Kyurem on a cover? Kinda disappoint that its black 2 and white 2 instead of grey. I feel like they are breaking tradition. that and the fact that when black and white 1st got released we were all so confident that grey was going to be made. XD But I am excited that the story line will continue. Pokemon is getting better and better with their story lines. :D

....*also happy that fluffily crotch is gone as well.* XD

Really? I'm surprised. This was making the rounds on my f-list and on Tumblr.

Why do you want Grey instead of Black 2 and White 2? To me, it seems like a sequel would be more fun than a re-hash of Black and White (which is what the third game usually is).

Inorite? I have a Reshiram shirt that I really like, but I feel kind of weird wearing it in public because it looks like he has a fluffy erection. XD

Well I love the idea of a sequel, but I just wanted the name Grey is all. Especially since it's strange for them to be breaking tradition name wise. I feel like saying black and white two was a last minute we kinda don't care thing. I feel like the creators of pokemon are starting to get a little lazy with names and new pokemon but thats just my opinion. lol

XD Yeah, you don't need anyone asking you any strange questions about Reshiram.

Oh, that. See my response to zenity about why I think calling it Grey would be a bad idea. Black and White 2 is simple and to the point. Calling it Grey would just confuse people.

Super looking forward to these games! And always happy for more dragons, even if they lose the technical dragon type (which I don't know for sure yet).

I haven't hooked up my DS to the router here yet, but if no one else has a Magmortar for you, let me know and I'll try to set it up! I got a full Pokedex (minus Keldeo who comes in July, woohoo) so I should have one around somewhere.

I'm hoping that they'll lose the Dragon type instead of the Fire/Electric types since I've wanted a Fire/Ice type for ages.

Thanks. I'll let you know if no one else offers. You have the Japanese version of the game, right? Does that mean you get the event Pokemon that are released in Japan (over Wifi)? I wasn't sure if the Wifi events were region-locked based on your game language or your location.

Yep, I have the Japanese version of the game. It's been a while since I've done much with my game (though I'm playing through White now in anticipation of the sequels) but I thiiiink I was able to download some of the Japan Wifi Pokemon, so I think it's by the game region.

I managed to get a Magmortar on my own. I had forgotten that I had a Magmar + Magmarizer on my Diamond version and another gen 4 game to trade with.

I'm starting to really wish I had a Japanese game, after all these shiny Pokemon events.
