Farewell, McKitzey...

Jun 30, 2011 01:56

Soooo I was planning to make a post on how McKitzey was doing. She was diagnosed with cancer a few days ago and the vet suggested chemotherapy. (Apparently chemo is one of the standard treatments for cats, since it doesn't give them as many side effects as it does for people.) She got her first dose of chemo on Monday and seemed to be perking up ( Read more... )

I don't think she did (at least, not until the last hour), though it's always hard to tell with cats. I wonder if I mistook some of her pain for lethargy on accident. I wish animals could just tell you when they felt bad.

I think it finally sunk in that she's gone, and I'm starting to have a hard time coping. I don't even want to think about what will happen when Callie dies, since I actually bonded with Callie.

I'm so sorry. I love the one cat two tails photo. ^^

And I don't think the members will have a problem will a shipping delay And if they do that's their problem You'll get the stuff out eventually, but there are more important things to deal with right now. <3

I didn't even notice it until someone else on my f-list pointed it out.

I guess I'm just worried that people will think I ran off with their money. We've seen it happen with several long term comm members in the past.

And I'm not sure if I should or shouldn't post my reasons for the delay. I never liked it when people brought personal problems into the comm, since it seemed like they were trying to garner sympathy from strangers.

Yeah I understand why you'd be worried. (It seemed to happen alot last year for some reason @_@)

If you want to make a post about it or just say for personal reasons that shipping is going to be delayed, then I'd say go for it.

But you can just simplify it by saying there will be a slight delay. No reason really needed. Just keeping up communication should be fine. :)
