I'm writing this on my amazing new computer at the New Delhi train station, instead of riding on the train to Jaipur, which it turns out left from the Old Delhi train station. Whoops. Anyway, Michele got here on Friday night, and I'm overjoyed. I've survived without her here, but unhappily. Even Naheed told me that I wasn't any fun without Michele ( Read more... )

i passed your regards to the good folks of John O'Groates, but it wasn't needed- it seems like your parents keep them posted on your doings every week. Krishna, however, did enjoy the second hug i gave him on your behalf.

i got huevos O'Groates which were outstanding. Krrish and i also split three pumpkin pancakes. that was a mistake considering the amount of space left in our stomach. sadly, i forgot to get something involving bacon.

as soon as you get back you're meeting up with josh and me at the LA/OC border for chicken fried steak chili burgers and horchata at my favorite hometown burger joint.

Hey! I was just telling Josh over the weekend that we hadnt seen you on LJ in awhile. Glad to hear you're doing well (and better, now that Michele is there!)

When do you come home? I cant remember when you said the program ends? Anyway, hi and hugs to both of you. Have fun and stay safe and healthy. It's the Jewish mom in me, I swear! :)

I get home on I think the 6th of June - program ends April 20, and I'm traveling until 5/31; then I have a crazy couple days in Europe, and I leave London 6/5. See you soon!

Good to hear from you again. =) Your pictures are so nice-- I like the ones at Humayun's Tomb, too.

On an unrelated note, there's going to be some sort of Rich/Steve/Angie/Robert/Sean get-together soon, and we think we should go to a restaurant that would make you proud. Do you have any dim sum recs?

Thanks! Glad you liked them! For dim sum, I really like Legendary Palace, at 708 Franklin. Also, I'm a major Shanghai supporter, either the Durant or 9th & Webster locations. They're not dim sum, but I also love Spices! 3 and China Village. Rich can tell you about Spices! 3. I say go there and split the nomad style lamb and cumin hot pot.
