I spent over 9 hours solid on my feet today. and bending and scrubbing and kneading and being.... genial... I am soooo ready to die now. Or at least spend the rest of the week sleeping. But no. Up again at 4 tomorrow. And the following day ( Read more... )

down is creepy anyways cos little feathers work their way out through the fabric eventually. which is actually quite gross if you think about it...

vegan is a great way to go, but carefull not to get caught up in the mental trap of seeing it as an absolute moral boundry. It's all shades of grey.

we are designed to consume. hypocracy is inevidable. but as my former roommate said about his veganism: " you have to do what feels right " i think theres a happy medium in there.

heh. I like the way your former roommate thinks ^_^. And I agree, finding a happy medium is important, and pretty much everyone does it. For any given person, there are things they will and will not eat.

I just get a bit nervous when 'what feels right' starts turning into 'what _IS_ right', and those who fool themselves into believing that the shade of grey they choose is the correct one (in an absolute sense) then start looking down on others who choose differntly in either dirretion.

i appreciate the warning. it's too easy to get caught up in what you're doing to the point that you stop thinking through the "why"s anymore. i'll try to be careful ^^
