Sorta eventful few weeks. Had vacation this past week and a couple weeks ago. The first one we spent doing pretty much absolutely nothing, and it was glorious. The most exhausting thing we did was spend a day at the deathbeach up in Sheboygan. Was sooo relaxing, except that I forgot I had my phone in my pocket when we went in the lake. Oh well. This morning, in accordance with company policy, I carded a 45-year-old woman who was buying cigarettes. She proceeded to call me an asshole and told me to "go back home to your butt buddy, faggot."

Good things:
The check engine light was a very minor problem, supereasily fixed with no charge.

We got our first Netflik in the mail today.

Bad things:
Star Wars:Legacy is coming to an end in just four issues. That was the last good part of the EU.

I've been watching a bunch of DS9 recently, and now I'm on the Brigadoon episode.

The only good April Fool's joke was when Lucasfilm canonized Willow into the Star Wars universe for a day.

I submit that the most absolutely fun film genre is the zomedy. I love the ridiculously over-the-top violence and how they play with the tropes common to the zombie movie. Dead Alive, Shaun of the Dead, Slither, Planet Terror, Fido and Zombieland are some of the awesomest movies I've ever seen.

The most recent episode of The Simpsons featured an eight-year-old girl who was villainized for trying so hard to free a slave, but in the end being just timid enough that she had to back down and allow him to be recaptured.
