Given that Twitter has absolutely exploded regarding this and I've seen it elsewhere on the FList, you all probably know. But just in case: Amazon has apparently decided to removing the sales ranking on "adult" books. This seriously affects what turns up on Amazon searches. Which would be bad enough, except apparently "adult" means books with LGBT

Hi!

I just wanted to leave you a note here saying "Thank You". Why you ask? Just because it was your glowing recommendation on many shows and manga via Anime World Order, that made me pick them up. I am now thoroughly in love with Black Jack because of you, have ordered all of the volumes currently out from Vertical, I've gotten into Jojo's Bizarre Adventure which is quite simply fantastic (I've absolutely no words for the way that series has seriously enriched my life), and then there is Detroit Metal City, sooner as to not go there since I'm riding the crack wave with that one.

But yeah, thank you very much for your wonderful and quite insightful reviews. I hope you don't mind that I stalked you to your personal journal, I just wanted to let you know that your reviews are awesome. (Well I like Daryl and Gerald's reviews, but as far as tastes go.. when I heard that you liked several other series I liked :including Fumi Yoshinaga's works: I sort of knew that your taste would probably run quite similar to mine own.)

Thanks! It's always good to know that we've helped people find stuff they like. After all, it's why we do the podcast!

As for the journal, I don't really mind. I tend not to publicize it much because I'm working out how to handle the overlap of fandom with my RL name due to the podcast and magazine, and I like to hold out hope that I'll have time to actually engage much in fandom again, LOL. But I don't mind people knowing about it who are already fandom people.

It's hard to juggle RL and fandom, that is definitely the truth, I barely participate in it anymore, I rarely write, I've done very little icons.. but what I enjoy is people talking passionately about what they like. And that is what you guys on AWO have, passion. (And even though Daryl has alot of passion, if there's one valuable thing I've learned from Jojo's Bizarre Adventure :or tenpuri:, it is that one cannot have too much BURNING PASSION!)

I forgot about the ballet-fu. Yeah, you also got me addicted to the ballet-fu.
