Right as I got to the mount line I saw my dad and Wendy walking up, and I yelled hi to them, climbed on the bike, and took off up the hill. I passed a few people just by having the bike in an easy gear and riding up instead of trying to jog it in bike shoes. ( I settled in, and started my afternoon of pedaling. )

Well that was just the transition time... not my run pace! :-) But I was pleased since my AZ transitions were a few minutes slower than this year's.
