I know you're feeling really terrible right now, but please don't write everyone off. I know my comments have very little meaning because I really can't relate to something like racial suppression and discrimination. I've never been in the minority and can't even begin to comprehend how it feels. But, I can say that everything happens for a reason, and not being able to audition for the musical will only allow for other doors to be opened and other oppurtunities to be explored. Who knows what's around the corner? I know that sounds like bullshit and that I can never fully understand how you feel. But you are a very talented person and that is clear to everyone. You're gonna leave Lake Shore in less than a year and go to college and have better oppurtunities and experiences and meet extraordinary people. I've been telling myself that for the past three years and I really believe in it. my answer: ya, in a sense... but someone would probably find some other discrimination to replace it. i think the best solution is to just be like fuck you cuz there are more people who love me.
