It's.. difficult to explain. It's like he's been brainwashed. He remembers me, and who he is, and who I am-- but he doesn't remember his past at all. What used to drive him.

He was brainwashed so that he could throw me and my friends off our path. He was being used against us. I guess if he couldn't remember us at all, he wouldn't have been able to try and do that.
