Locked from Jet:
I need a healer. My friend Jet from home is -- well, he's not really sick, but something has been done with his mind. We were able to snap him out of it at home with the help of his friends and my healing abilities, but we don't have either of those here

[A pause.] What happened to your friend Jet?
[He has some experience with undoing mind control magic but he doubts it's remotely the same as what he has worked with.]

[She affords him a half-smile.]
It'll give us something to talk about.

[He doesn't really think this is the best conversation topic Katara. YOUR LIFE SEEMS TO SUCK.]
I suppose it will. [Will not pry until he's there in person!]

I'll have the tea warming.
[She smiles briefly at him, ends the feed, and sends him her coordinates immediately after.]

[Ion takes his staff, never leave home without your dorky tuning fork on a stick, and sets out for the destined location! Or at least Katara's coordinates. He is vaguely worried that the girl does not seem to catch a break, but perhaps they can talk over tea.]
[If he can even be an ear to listen, it will be something.]
[By the time he arrives he's a little tired, but not winded. He knocks, calling out just to announce himself in case anyone else is home.]

But that's dangerous here. You barely know me - the fact that you just came into my house.. I could have been a monster, you know. Preying on your pity.
[Katara wants to warn people, to warn the gentle and empathetic ones like Aang against the dangers here. It's not her fault that she's really bad at it.]

[He picks up the saucer and tea, taking a sip as she speaks. He smiles a little, though not too much because her concerns are valid and he takes her seriously.]
It is not pity I think. And you don't seem like a monster to me, nor did you then, even in your anger.

[Except it's not past tense- not really. She can still feel anger, cold and heavy in her stomach.]
Tell me a little about your world.
