I have decided that the heir of the House of El shall be named for the great Erok-El, first Bethgar of all Urrika. He was first to take the take the name of El. As the first child of the House of El to be born on this planet, it is only right that he should bear a name to befit his station.

we ought not die, fiction, au

Erok-El??? Words fail me. I know they won't fail Lex, though. So I can't wait to see his response.

This is only the first volley in the baby naming wars. Everyone's going to have an opinion.

I'm sure Lex will have something definite to say about this. But then again so will everyone else. We'll see who has the last word.

I'm not sure what it would translate to. I only know he was the man who united the tribes of Urrika into one nation and established practice of the surname among Kryptonians. His son was the first Kal-El.

I wouldnt' doubt that for a minute. I expect several people will weigh in on the baby's name before it's all over. We'll see who has the last word, though.

Thanks.
