I can't watch Vampire Diaries until tonight so basically I am blocking myself from half of my flist...
I'm also woefully behind on BtVS S9 so this week my ability to lurk has been seriously impaired.

Dawn took a long swallow of her whiskey sour and shuddered a bit before turning to the morose man sitting beside her at the dingy bar.
"You gave her a pony??"
"Girls like ponies!"
She snorted in an attempt to hold back laughter. This town set her teeth on edge, it was so full of magic and vampires with no sense of propriety or rules. They walked about in the day!! The weeping mess next to her wasn't even worth staking, she thought as she watched him drink cheap tequila from the bottle.
At one point, a blonde vampire had tried to wrestle the bottle away. Several times other men - vampires, weres, humans - had tried to convince him to at least switch sources of booze. He became a driveling mess and one by one they had all left the bar in disgust or barely contained amusement.

So now she was stuck with him, watching him moon over a younger, blonde vampire playing pool in the corner and pretending she didn't hear him wax poetics on her hair, her adorable nose, her perfect smile...

And which research project would you be asking about? I have a project on the National Healthcare Debate, a project Our Lady of Guadalupe in Mexican history, art, and the modern feminist movement, re-imaging an advertisement to change its meaning for my Art ethics class, and a powerpoint on Real Women Have Curves and Chicana literature coming up. Then I get to worry about final projects! Yay! Then I have a summer where I go cross country visiting the BFFs before leaving for France, then hopefully I'll be taking an entire semester learning French in France! Then finishing my BA! Then graduate school! For seven years!

I am convinced I'm going to be in school until I'm 35.
