Omg a Wicked movie? Wow. I haven't seen the musical yet, but I want to.

Me too! But the way things are going I suspect I might actually see the movie before the musical. Woes.

I'm just going to comment on the Wicked portion (as I have no idea about these other foreign fandoms).

I gotta say, Wicked is a pretty good musical (one of my friends is obsessed with it). Though it's a bit hard to judge when the only viewing of it you had was in music class a number of years ago (poorly pirated, may I add).

I think they didn't make it a movie sooner because the movie would detract from the number of people going to the stage production. But if it's drawing to a close...

Yeah, you're probably right. I don't think it's drawing to a close (at least I really hope it isn't!) but not everyone can go to Broadway so I am definitely looking forward to seeing the movie. :)
