HDD woes
Not that anybody cares, but this issue with my hard drive is killing me. It's just so unnerving losing so much stuff and having to borrow someone else's laptop. I hadn't backed up most of my documents and pics in like three months (I only backed up my fic and my icons, because I'm an idiot), and I lost some school stuff that was due last week, some

Thank you! I'm so used to talking to myself here, I really didn't expect this. Wow, I'm glad you were able to get your stuff back. Must've been awful. That's kind of how I felt the first time it happened. Hopefully the next time a hard drive dies on us it won't catch us unprepared.
I'll post the tutorial sometime this week. It's almost done, but I'm still recovering stuff from the drive and I'm wary to post it until I'm certain the story has a happy ending. I have to warn you, it's probably not very useful (and if you use a Mac, its usefulness is effectively reduced to zero), but it might turn out to be mildy amusing.
