There's absolutely nothing wrong with pink m'dear. Nothing wrong with it at all. OTT pink perhaps is a bit scary, but hell, if your brother is going to feel threatened by a pink phone then go for it!

I think it's more that it's going to reassure me that I'm just me...but that's OK. This is a thing I need reassuring of after an entire childhood of being in the same school as my brother but one year below, so constantly compared to him and never quite living up to the standard he set.

Well, he has been in school for year and year to avoid having to get a job and a real life. Being a student is WAY easier on some levels than being a bonafide adult. WHen you are an adult, you make decision, suffer the consequences and live life.

when you are a student, you do what you are told and that is pretty much the end of it.

Having experienced both sides of the fence in the past few years, I'll take being a student any day of the week.

oh, and guess what? I can use a million and one words that one one else besides other pre-med student know, but i dont because its called "showing off" and "being a know it all".

Your brother seriously needs to learn to button his lip on occasion.

Like arguing about the legality of a 60yr old woman giving birth.

He has had jobs...most of which his university has found for him, so he's not really had to look after himself in that regard at all!
