~fight, don't stop, get your war paint on, march to the beat of my dirty love song~

Hello. I feel like I have spend the last couple of months hiding my head in the sand like an ostrich, things in my RL had hit an all time low and as my way of dealing with everything is avoidance, this has meant that while I may have read every Kurt/Blaine fic in existence, I haven't quite been around. This is going to change, because over the past ( Read more... )

First thing first, congrats on the new job! Also I hope your travels will be wonderful.

Gosh, Johnny, Dick and Tanith are totally the thing that makes DWTS watchable and I have to admit Johnny telling Bethenny off was kind of beautiful.

And I can't get myself to watch any of the men from the GPF and I can't watch Rachael's long program. Alissa Czisny is totally the bright spot - such gorgeous performances.

Thank you! :DDD

Tanith is getting better with each episode, I really hope she gets other presenting jobs. Johnny telling off Bethenny was pretty epic and Dick too, I have this image of them planning before the show what to say and Dick offering to be the mean one, because he is too old to give a shit and Johnny agreeing, but then being unable to control himself in the face of Bethenny's awfulness. It makes me feel all warm and fuzzy.

I haven't had the time to watch them, so I will try to see at least some. But yeah about the men, I know he supposedly deserved it, but I don't want to see Patrick Chan - GPF champion.

Thank you, I want to give you details, yes. Tell me when you are free in the next week, because I want to see you! And also, you haven't posted in forever. How is life?

(hahaha, it was so bizarre, I didn't know whether to feel flattered or insulted!)

Duuuuuuuuuuuude! Your awesome RL things are indeed AWESOME. I'm so happy about your new job. I'm so jealous about Spain and NYC. :D

(Johnny's song is not as horrible as I feared! I'm also not sure how I feel about Evan's dress, but I don't full-on hate it...)

I am so relieved, it's only a 9 month contract, so hopefully next september I can move on to doing something I actually really want, but sitting at home for this many months was so demoralising. I hope NYC happens, as still haven't booked, haha.

I can't wait till the actual recording, in the mean time I have listened to it shamefully many times. As for Evan's dress... yeah I don't like the material, it's way too heavy, the pale gold colour looks terrible on the model and the design reminds me of a cross between a turn of the century maid outfit and an 80s prom dress, with an asymmetrical twist. Which is to say, it isn't truly terrible, but it's hugely unflattering.

Dude, tell me about it. :( I'm glad you have something to start with. I think once you get into the job market flow, it's easier to find a follow-up function.

Ahaha, that's a pretty spot-on description.

ps: Florence + The Machine covered Last Christmas. It's pretty swell.

This is what I am hoping. I mean this is business, and I definitely want to return to IR/Politics, but it will hopefully be easier, once I have some experience.

Ooh, that is so lovely! *puts on repeat*
