I liked it, though it felt a bit like a filler episode and no El (AGAIN) makes me sad. Less fan service than we'd started getting used to, but there was a real understanding and trust between Peter and Neal, which was wonderful to observe.
Um, hi, welcome to my brain. We are so spoiled when it comes to Neal/Peter deliciousness that even this episode (which had some A+ moments like omfg Neal drinking a BEER, Peter is a bad influence lol) was like... meh! Ha ha.
Peter looked fiiiiiiine in that suit ♥ and Neal looked exceptionally attractive in the white t-shirt (he wore it before when he was copying that painting).
Hee, appropriate icon is appropriate (also preeetty)
We are so spoiled when it comes to Neal/Peter deliciousness This, basically. I think this is one episode I will like more on a rewatch, because it was more subtle than usually, but still full of lovely moments. And Peter in a nice suit and Neal in a t-shirt is very nice to see. I do not remember the Beer for some reason. When was that??
Hee, that was clearly part of his seduction, he was trying to speak Peter's language. Also, Peter probably didn't offer him wine. Wonderful little details like that are why I adore this show so much. :D brb, rewatching.
They were very helpful in passing a very boring work afternoon. <3
And now I can remark on White Collar because I finally watched it.
It does feel like a filler episode, but at least a fairly entertaining one. I, too, feel the lack of El though. I love the duo that Neal and Peter makes, but El really adds that spark.
I wish we could've seen dressing up scene with Neal getting the new tie for Peter
ME TOO.
I braced myself for a horrible embarrassment squick moment during the wine tasting scene, because they were setting up for it, and while I really should know better at this point for this show, I was SO delightfully surprised by Peter being all smooth and competent. It's like, I KNOW Peter is competent, dammit! And gah, that was so hot. Not the pretentious speak, but the way Peter TAKES COMMAND. Guh. GUH.
El really adds that spark. Yes, she also has common sense and probably would have questioned their plan.
I braced myself for a horrible embarrassment squick moment during the wine tasting scene Oh god, me too, I actually paused it and did other things for a while, because I couldn't bear it, and then he was awesome. I do love it when they show that Peter is an equal of Neal's in many ways despite their differences, that's what makes their dynamic so appealing.
And I absolutely agree, it was full of lovely moments. I also really want tie fixing to happen, I mean it clearly must have, shame on them for not showing it to us.
Hee, I know, that one might be my favorite, I only just watched Se7en for the first time last week and kept thinking 'head in a box', oh god 'head in a box', but 'killer gives cop head' is truly genius.
