White Collar, I liked it, though it felt a bit like a filler episode and no El (AGAIN) makes me sad. Less fan service than we'd started getting used to, but there was a real understanding and trust between Peter and Neal, which was wonderful to observe.
Once again, I give you my jumbled thoughts.
-So Neal’s half hearted attempt to hide what he is doing, makes it clear that he wants Peter to be involved, of course he doesn’t go and ask him like a normal person, because he is Neal. It is foreplay a game the two of them like to play.
-Neal totally is a bad influence on Peter, but Peter is having too much fun to care.
-I shouldn’t be finding the slow reveal of Neal’s ankle attractive...
-So, we meet another of Neal’s nasty exes that doesn’t mind a gun. Rival, I mean, same difference. Neal gets challenged and he is too competitive to be smart. Mozzie is the voice of reason of course. (Hi, Mozzie, ilu)
-Neal goes to Peter immediately, yay, the boy is learning :D :D and tries to seduce him in his normal way and of course Peter is having none of it, and so Neal changes tactics and hits him where it counts (for justice, blah blah) and of course Peter hates port (as do I, incidentally, thought that may be the direct result of an embarrassing port spillage incident during a formal dinner in first year)
(One day they need to tell us why Mozzie is Neal’s willing slave.)
-Clothing banter ftw, I wish we could've seen dressing up scene with Neal getting the new tie for Peter. Italian, looks good on you. (as would I, Neal thinks)
(Also, take a sip, say something pretentious is so very, very true.)
-Huh, Peter can speak wine, who would’ve thought, definitely not Neal, who still underestimates him after all this time. Yay, Peter.
-You’ll feel better when WE take him down. Yes, indeed.
-Neal in a t-shirt, is that a first? Still, looking good. He really needs to add a peephole to his door, it'll make his life a whole lot easier.
-I don’t know what Peter is eating, but ‘Finish?’, ‘Lactose’ is my favourite exchange ever, such an adorable level of comfort between Peter and Mozzie, and why did Peter even go there, just to check up on Neal, because he sure as hell didn’t need much persuasion to change his mind.
-So, I was totally sure Keller had the real bottle, because he obviously knows about the test and isn’t an idiot, but he killed a guy just to pretend he has a fake bottle, which seems a bit too crazy and also if I was sure, it should have at leased crossed Neal's mind as a possibility.
