So. 225-250 more words last night. And some revising of earlier paragraphs to make the voice feel a little bit truer to me; sadly, I tend to overwrite descriptively before looking back and going "Hey, that character wouldn't really phrase things that way."

Well, it did include judicious use of the melodramatic phrase "man-probe", if that makes you feel any better. And it's kind of a story within a story. With commentary. And interruptions. It's... quirky. : )
