So. 225-250 more words last night. And some revising of earlier paragraphs to make the voice feel a little bit truer to me; sadly, I tend to overwrite descriptively before looking back and going "Hey, that character wouldn't really phrase things that way."
I think I've managed to turn the transition corner between stages. And bigsciencybrain justifiably laughed at me when I showed her the cheesy melodramatic sentence I'd been giggling over since initially coming up with this bunny with one particular phrase. So, uh, putting that phrase on a dark dusty shelf now, where it probably won't see sunlight any time soon. Yeah. *grin*
