If you liked Richard Briers in this, you need to see at least the first couple of seasons of MONARCH OF THE GLEN, which is a serious hoot, where he plays a head of household to a minor Scottish noble family down on their shillings.

I've heard of this (THE GOOD LIFE), but never saw it. Thanks very much for the tip!
