I totally watched Litte Miss Sunshine instead of the State of the Union or Veronica Mars.

I don't think I've ever made a better choice in my life. ever.

Yup. I just watched this on Saturday night with Chris. Fucking LOVE the ending. 'Cause it suddenly hits you "um, what dance moves did Grandpa teach her?" but then it's too late!

I also heart Steve Carrell.

Well... let's just say it's a start. I have to ease into this whole "being nude in front of people" thing. There's more where that came from but I'm currently wimping out on posting them.

even though I don't think it will win (because when was the last time a comedy won??), I'm rooting for it for Best Picture. It was just.... perfect.

Oh my gosh. That movie is wrapped in all sorts of perfect. 3 things I always tell people with whom I discuss this movie:
1) My favorite line is, "Fuck a lot of women, Dwayne. I don't mean one woman, I mean a LOT of women." He probably won't win, but Alan Arkin deserves that Oscar.
2) The scene where Dwayne found out he could not be a pilot literally ripped my heart out of my chest and I was crying like crazy. Made me glad I watched it alone the first time I saw it.
3) There are certain songs/movies/books that you partake of when you just sort of need to feel like the world is a beautiful place, for me, that movie is one of them.

Me no likee good grammar or punctuation. superoo January 25 2007, 07:27:21 UTC
Um, I really am more intelligent than the grammar and punctuation in that last comment would reflect. The excuse that I will use for now is that it is late and I am fighting off a cold that attacks proper sentence structure and then the lungs.
