[Manjoume's Sphere decides to turn on and follow him as he's returning to his room from a trip to level 15. [Oliver is sitting in a field of red floors that seem to have sprouted in his room. he's laughing...very openly. perhaps a bit too openly] Never heard of that holiday! But you should've seen it when it happened the first time. Stuff rained on you every time you walked in a room for days!

It's a festival held at Duel Academy every year, in honor of the spirits of the monsters. I [the tiniest of pauses here, but it's only noticeable if you're listening for it, really] didn't participate in it this past year, but the year before that, the Osiris Red dorm held a cosplay duel for it.

[He keeps attempting to brush all of the glitter off, though somehow it seems to be rather adamant on staying in his hair. He's too irritated to comment on the flowers, even if he finds them odd.] Every time you walked into a room for days, huh. Somehow, I'm not surprised. If this ship can find a way to annoy someone, it will.

Oh yeah, it's wizard at that. 'Course, that used to be all it did--little stuff. Annoying stuff like raining confetti on your head. And Roman knucklebones! Which kinda hurt, but it wasn't bad. [frowns] The ship sure did change quick.

You're talked about those monsters of yours before! But I thought you said you were one of the only ones who can see the spirits? Like your uh...Oji-whatsit Yellow friend.

And not for the better.

[He's still dusting himself off.] Just because there aren't that many people who can see them doesn't mean they don't exist. And it's not like the spirits don't have any effect on the world - there are some that have managed to take physical form, at times. In general, most people at least acknowledge the possibility of their existence.

You get used to that. It was doing it to me a few days ago.

Doesn't make it any better. Stupid ship...

[He continues to attempt to dust himself off, attempting to ignore his curiosity toward the fact that he's being spoken to by a kid who looks like Riku.]

I know. We've been trying to figure out what's going, but everything's so chaotic.

[he has a serious face, because this is serious business, and he's trying to ignore the fact that he looks like a kid, too]

Apparently multiple things, since it doesn't look like it's anyone in the exact same way. Most of the time it's followed a theme at the very least, so far, but not this time.
